Monday, February 26, 2018 at Vancouver 2-0 Loss
The Giants scored a power play goal in the second period and added an empty net goal in the dying seconds for the win. The Blazers were not awarded a power play on the night. Dylan Ferguson stopped 24 shots in the loss.
Wednesday, February 28, 2018 vs. Victoria 5-1 Win
The Blazers built up a 4-0 lead and went on to win 5-1 over the Victoria Royals. Five different players had goals as Connor Zary, Nick Chyzowski, Brodi Stuart, Ryley Appelt and Jermaine Loewen had the goals. Joe Gatenby had two assists and Dylan Ferguson stopped 24 shots in the win.
Friday, March 2, 2018 vs. Vancouver 5-1 Win
Luc Smith had two goals and an assist in a 5-1 win over the Vancouver Giants. Connor Zary, Ryley Appelt and Brady Reagan had goals. Jermaine Loewen had two assists and Dylan Ferguson stopped 30 shots.
Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Vancouver 5-4 Loss
The Blazers battled back from a 4-0 deficit, but came up short in a 5-4 loss to Vancouver. Joe Gatenby led the way with a goal and three assists. Jermaine Loewen, Luc Smith and Nolan Kneen also had goals. Max Palaga took the loss with four saves and Dylan Ferguson stopped 17 shots.
2018 Kamloops Blazers Hockey School
The Kamloops Blazers Hockey School will be held at the Sandman Centre from August 13-17, 2018. Registration is now open for Initiation, Novice, Atom and Pee Wee age groups.
