The Kamloops Blazers went 1-2-0-0 on their three-game Alberta road trip to see the record dip to 32-13-1-1 on the season, good for second place in the BC Division and two points behind Vancouver for first place. Here's what happened over the past seven days:

Friday, January 19th @ Kootenay - Kootenay-6, Kamloops-4 - The Ice scored four goals in a 5:16 span in the first period to rally from a 1-0 deficit - ultimately holding on for a 6-4 win over the Blazers in Cranbrook last night. Reid Jorgensen, CJ Stretch, Juuso Puustinen, and Sasha Golin (his first as a Blazer) scored for the Blazers as they outshot the Ice 30-27 on the night. Taylor Dakers earned the win while Dustin Butler took the loss in just 26 minutes of work - Dalyn Flette was 11 for 12 in the save department in relief. The Blazers were 2-for-7 on the PP and 6-for-8 on the PK.

Saturday, January 20th @ Medicine Hat - Medicine Hat-7, Kamloops-3 - The Tigers scored 6 goals in the first 35 minutes and rolled to a 7-3 win over the Blazers last night in Medicine Hat. Reid Jorgensen scored twice with Juuso Puustinen adding a single and two assists. Final shots were 26-25 Tigers with Dustin Butler taking the loss and Matt Keetley getting the win. Dalyn Flette mopped up in the Blazer goal for the second straight night. The Blazers were 0-for-3 on the PP and 7-for-8 on the PK.

Sunday, January 21st @ Lethbridge - Kamloops-5, Lethbridge-2 - The Blazers overcame an early 2-0 deficit in scoring five unanswered goals to post a 5-2 win in Lethbridge on Sunday. The Blazers were 2-for-9 on the PP and 5-for-5 on the PK.
