The Kamloops Blazers, who have played a WHL-leading 24 games so far this season, wrapped up another busy week with a stretch of 3 games in 4 nights...going 2-1-0-0...and seeing their season-high 4-game win streak come to an end. Here's what happened:

November 9th

Reid Jorgensen scored twice to lead the Blazers past the Red Deer Rebels 2-1 in Kamloops on Wednesday. Final shots were 30-26 Rebels...with Devan Dubnyk picking up the win and Andrew Leslie suffering the loss. The Blazers were 0-for-6 on the PP and 5-for-6 on the PK.

November 11th

Reid Jorgensen scored once in regulation and again in a shootout to lead the Blazers to a 4-3 win in Vancouver on Friday. Janick Steinmann scored twice for Kamloops, including once on the powerplay. Final shots were 35-15 Giants...with Devan Dubnyk picking up the win and Dustin Slade suffering the loss. The Blazers were 1-for-6 on the PP and 9-for-10 on the PK.

November 12th

The Vancouver Giants scored 3 powerplay goals en route to a 6-1 win...snapping the Blazers' 4-game win streak on Saturday night. Ashton Rome scored the lone Blazer goal in the second period...with the Blazers 0-for-5 on the PP and 5-for-8 on the PK.

The Blazers enter the week with a 13-11-0-0 record, good for 4th place in an ultra-competitive BC Division. Here are the standings as of November 13th:

The Kamloops Blazers' Booster Club's annual Pizza Night is set for Tuesday at 5:30pm at the Sports Action Lounge at Interior Savings Centre.
