Michal Siska scored the go-ahead goal on a powerplay 6:10 into the third period - breaking a 1-1 tie and lifting the Blazers to a 2-1 win over the Chilliwack Bruins on Friday night in front of over 1700 fans at Interior Savings Centre. Cole Grbavac had the other Blazer goal while Ryan Howse scored the lone Bruin marker. The Blazers outshot the Bruins 33-28 with Justin Leclerc getting the win whle Lucas Gore took the loss. The Blazers were 2-for-10 on the powerplay while the Bruins were 0-for-7. These two teams will meet again on Saturday night in Chilliwack. The Blazers are now 2-1-0-0 in the pre-season.
