
Blazers Sign Josh Kelly to WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have announced that the hockey club has signed 2006-born forward Josh Kelly to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.
Kelly is from Port Moody, BC and plays for the Vancouver NE Chiefs U18 AAA team in the BC Elite Hockey League. He has put up 30 goals, 29 assists and 59 points in 33 games this season which is second in U18 AAA scoring.
The 6'2" and 180lb forward, was listed by the Blazers shortly after Christmas and practiced with the hockey club in early February.
"We would like to welcome Josh and his family to the Kamloops Blazers organization," said General Manager / Head Coach, Shaun Clouston. "Josh has had a great season and we look forward to being a part of his continued development."
Kelly is the second 2006-born player to sign with the hockey club this week, following the announcement of defenseman Kalan Anderlini on February 21st.
Kelly is the six player signed in the 2006-born age group joining goaltender Jesse Sanche, defensemen Harrison Brunicke and Kalan Anderlini along with forwards Ashton Tait and Conner Radke.
