Pats Make Changes to Community Schedule
February 23, 2023 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Regina Pats News Release
Regina, Sask. - The Regina Pats would like to thank you, the fans, for your support during this legendary season! We are extremely grateful to be able to give back to our fans and the community that supports the organization both on and off the ice.
This season we've had the opportunity to host two team-signing events, multiple post-game skates and eight Autograph Alleys, plus two more Autograph Alleys still to come: one this Saturday, February 25 and another on Wednesday, March 8. Our organization was also present in the community, participating in community programs such as the Adopt-A-Family Christmas, a surprise visit to the Outdoor Hockey League's ("OHL") game on Wascana Lake as part of Frost, Western Pizza's Have-A-Heart Night, Pats Kids Club events, school appearances, and assisting with the OHL's weekly practices.
In order to balance the team's focus on driving for the playoffs with the organization's commitment to the community, we are adjusting the team's schedule to remain focused on our goal of making the playoffs. The February 28 team signing event and the March 5 post-game skate will be removed from the team's schedule. However, the two remaining Autograph Alleys and Kids Club programming will continue as scheduled.
We thank you for your support and understand this may be disappointing. However, we remain committed to putting forth the best possible on-ice product and continue to remain involved in the community.
