
Blazers Prevail 2-1 In Shootout Vs Kelowna

Kamloops Blazers News Release
Ivan Rohac scored the lone goal in the four-round shootout as the Blazers edged the Rockets 2-1 on Wednesday night at ISC.
Tyler Shattock opened the scoring by converting a CJ Stretch centering pass late in the first period with Jamie Benn knocking in a rebound midway through the second period to tie the game at one.
The third period and overtime solved nothing...with the Blazers outshooting the Rockets 32-22 including 13-6 in the final 25 minutes. Justin Leclerc was solid in picking up the win while Kris Westblom was excellent in preserving a point on the road.
The Blazers were 0-for-5 on the PP and 4-for-4 on the PK.
Next up: a visit to Portland on Friday night.
