Jon Groenheyde made 33 saves and Tyler Shattock's 18th of the season stood up as the game winner as the Blazers knocked off the Giants 2-1 in Vancouver on Saturday night. Alex Rodgers put the Blazers up 1-0 in the first before Mikhail Fisenko tied the game on an early second period powerplay. Shattock's winner also came on the man advantage just 43 seconds in to the third. Final shots were 34-33 Giants with Groenheyde getting the win and Tyson Sexsmith taking the loss. The Blazers were 1-for-5 on the powerplay while going 7-for-8 on the penalty kill.
