Kamloops Blazers News Release
Kamloops, BC - Kamloops Blazers General Manager Craig Bonner announced this morning that they have traded 19-year-old forward Jake Trask to the Saskatoon Blades in exchange for Saskatoon's 6th round Bantam draft pick in 2012.
"We would like to thank Jake for his time as a Blazer," Bonner said. "It was a situation where we needed to get down on roster numbers, and it's an opportunity for Jake to play in his hometown," Bonner concluded.
Trask played 143 games with the Blazers over the last two and a half seasons and finished with 41 points. He was originally the Blazers 3rd round Bantam pick in 2008.
The Kamloops Blazers current roster now sits at 25 players including 15 forwards, 8 defenceman, and 2 goaltenders.
