In the second game of a back-to-back on the road, the Baltimore Blast headed an hour East to take on the Orlando SeaWolves in Kissimmee at the Silver Spurs Arena. This was the season debut for Mike Zierhoffer as he started the game in the goal for the Blast.

Orlando opened the scoring early when Luiz Mota buried a goal 8:20 into the first quarter. The Blast would quickly respond two minutes later when Vini Dantas sent a strike into the corner to tie the game, then Tony Donatelli put the Blast ahead with a goal of his own a minute later.

A minute later, Omar Tapia capitalized off of a textbook counterattack to put Orlando back on top for the first time since the beginning of the first. Luiz Mota netted his second goal of the game, taking advantage of the powerplay. This would send the Blast trailing into the half 4-2.

As time was winding down in the third quarter, Andrew Hoxie chipped into the Orlando lead with his second goal on the season. In the fourth quarter, Mo N'diaye took a feed from Tony Donatelli and tied the game up at four. As the end of the fourth quarter was nearing, Omar Tapia took the pass from Gui Ribeiro and hammered it to the far post to put Orlando in the lead with 0:57 seconds remaining in the game. Ian Chacon, who came on for Fernando Cortes, held on in the final seconds as the SeaWolves defeated the Blast 5-4, handing them back-to-back losses this weekend.
