The Blast hosted the Harrisburg Heat in their regular season home finale on Sunday night. In the fifth matchup of the season the Blast were able to complete the season sweep defeating the Heat 9-0.

The Blast came out focusing on controlling possession. With :41 seconds left in the quarter Sofianne Tergou recorded his second goal of the season to give the Blast an early lead. The goal was assisted by Andrew Hoxie and at the end of the first the Blast led 1-0.

The Blast would extend their lead with 2 goals in the second quarter. At the 1:57 mark Levi Houapeu recorded his 6th goal of season followed by Jonatas Melo scoring his first of the year. The Blast defense held the Heat to only 6 shots in the half and went into the break leading 3-0.

The Blast continued to control the pace and tempo of the game in the second half. At the 12:26 mark Sofianne Tergou would find the back of the net for his second goal of the game again assisted by Andrew Hoxie. The Blast entered the final quarter leading 4-0.

Uzi Tayou would record his first goal of the season for the Blast to extend the lead beginning the final quarter. At the 3:51 mark Andrew Hoxie and Sofianne Tergou connected for the third time in the game, this time Hoxie got the goal while Tergou earned the assist. The Hoxie goal was followed by Lucas Roque recording his 15th goal of the season off a Pat Healey assist to extend the Blast lead to 7. At the 6:47 mark Jereme Raley would record his first Blast goal off an assist from Andrew Hoxie. With under 2 minutes to play Jinho Kim would score to seal the Blast victory.

The Blast improve to 14-3 on the season. The Blast were led offensively by Andrew Hoxie who recorded a goal and 3 assists on the night. Sofianne Tergou recorded 2 goals and 1 assist on the night. The Blast defense held the Heat to only 7 shots while goalkeeper, William Vanzela, recorded 5 saves and his second shutout of the season. The Blast will be on the road next weekend for games in St. Louis and Missouri. The next matchup is Friday, February 26th, at 8:35p.m. EST from the Family Arena against the St. Louis Ambush.
