SALT LAKE CITY - In front of a near sell-out crowd of 14,149 the Salt Lake Bees rolled past the Tacoma Rainiers 10-4 Friday night at Smith's Ballpark.

The Bees scored five runs in the fifth inning, two of which came off the bat of Jabari Blash, who blasted his second home run in as many days. Jared Walsh also had a hot bat as he finished with four RBIs for the second consecutive day. While Luis Rengifo turned in a three hit night while walking once and scoring three times.

Bees pitching was also sharp as Luis Pena, Deck McGuire and Sean Issac combined to hold Tacoma to just five hits. McGuire (1-1) was credited with the win in the Bees victory allowing a single run over three innings. Isaac picked up his first save in a Bees uniform allowing one run over the final three frames.

Game aside, the night was especially memorable with the 25th anniversary of the movie, The Sandlot, which was filmed in Utah. Members of the cast were on field to take the field before the game, sign autographs for fans during the game and answer questions post-game.

Salt Lake and Tacoma will face off again Saturday night at 7:05 p.m. at Smith's Ballpark. The evening will be rather regal in celebration of Princess Night at the ballpark. Fireworks will also be featured after the game. Tickets are available at slbees.com.
