Blades Welcome Pats October 26th

The Saskatoon Blades welcome the Regina Pats to the Credit Union Centre on Wednesday for the team's first action since returning from their US Division road swing.

Saskatoon went 1-3-0-1 on the five game trip and currently sit at 7-4-0-1 on the season. Those 15 points are currently good for 7th overall in the eastern conference.

The Pats enter the game as winners of two straight. In total they have 9 wins on the year out of their first 13 games and are currently tied for 2nd overall in the conference.

It will be a welcome home for Saskatoon after the road swing as the Blades remain undefeated on home ice this season, sitting at 5-0. They are one of two teams to remain undefeated on home ice.

Blades Notes

- The game against the Pats is also a Wired 96.3 Game Day and they have a number of things planned throughout the night. Included in that will be the second instalment of their figure skating event 'Battle At The Blades'.

- The United Way is also a part of the festivities for the evening. As a part of their involvement in the night, the Blades will be donating $1 from every walk-up ticket to their cause.

- The Saskatoon Blades are pleased and honoured to be named as hosts for the 2013 Memorial Cup. Our office hasalready received a ton of calls in regards to ticket availability. We want to take this opportunity to assure all season ticket holders that they will have the chance to reserve their very own seat for that event. That means if you want to get ticket packages for the event, the easiest way to do it is to become a Blades season seat holder today! - The Saskatoon Blades Team Store is also the home of a few new featured items this week. Included is a jacket and a new set of yoga pants. Pictures of those can be found below!

- Also as part of the festivities for this Wednesday's game, fans might just get a peek at a new featured jersey that the team will officially be unveiling at the November 5th game against the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
