Tonight... The Blades wrap up a 5-game stretch at home against the Everett Silvertips. It's the 1stand only meeting of the season between the two clubs. Saskatoon is currently sitting tied for 2ndin the Eastern Conference, looking create some distance from Brandon who sits 2 points back in the East Division. As for the Silvertips, they sit 5thin the US Division, but only 1 point separates them and 1stplace. This is stop #4 on a 6-game road trip through the East Division for Everett. So far they've gone 1-2.
The last game... Kirby Dach had 2 goals including the game winner and an assist in a 3-2 overtime victory over Spokane last Friday. Nolan Maier made 41 saves for his 7th win of the season.
Meanwhile, Everett was shutout 3-0 last night in Prince Albert... Dustin Wolf made 27 saves in goal. They were without captain and leading scorer Connor Dewar who will be sitting out again tonight as part of a 4-game suspension as a result of an incident last weekend in Brandon.
