
Blades Remain in CHL top 10

For the third time this season and second straight week, the Saskatoon Blades have taken the 10th spot in the weekly CHL Top Ten Rankings.
The Blades improved their Eastern Division best record this past week by winning all four games they played. On Wednesday, January 21st the Blades defeated the Brandon Wheat Kings by a score of 6-2 in Saskatoon. The Blades then played 3 games in 3 nights and found the win column in all 3 by defeating the Swift Current Broncos 4-3, the Edmonton Oil Kings 3-1, and the Moose Jaw Warriors 11-1. The Blades outscored their opponents 24-7 over that period. The Blades also continue to hold the league's best road record with an impressive 21-3-1 record on the road.
Winners of 9 straight games, The Blades have picked up at least one point in their past 13 games. Friday, January 30th, the Blades travel to Moose Jaw for the first game of a home and home with the Warriors. The teams will hit the Credit Union Centre ice at 7:05PM on Saturday, January 31st.
