Blades Win: The Saskatoon Blades defeated Connor Bedard and the Regina Pats 5-2 on Sunday. The win improves their record to 14-4 on the season. Close to 8,000 people attended Sunday's game and over 30 minor hockey teams in Saskatoon and area attended.

SAVES AND STARS: Trevor Wong scored his 8th goal of the season to start the Blades off. Wong has 10 points in his last 5 games to lead the team in scoring with 20 points. Carrot River's Jayden Wiens scored twice as well to get first star of the game honours. Goaltender Austin Elliott was once again superb in the Blades crease. The rookie goaltender now leads the league with a 1.55 GAA and a 0.941%SV. His goaltending partner Ethan Chadwick sits second in the league with a 1.90GAA.

NEXT GAME: The Blades are not in action again until this Friday when they host the Medicine Hat Tigers at the SaskTel Centre. Game starts at 7:00pm.
