Blades Enter into Perfect Partnership with Prairie Proud

September 24, 2015 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Saskatoon Blades News Release

The Saskatoon Blades are pleased to announce a merchandise collaboration, with a locally based clothing company Prairie Proud. A one of a kind Blades crested Prairie Proud shirt will be released at tomorrow night's game as the Blades battle the Prince Albert Raiders. The shirts will go live on the Prairie Proud website on Saturday morning, and can be found at http://prairieproud.ca/products/unisex-prairie-crew-t-royal. They will also be available at Prairie Proud's store, which is located at 120 Sonnesnschein Way, Saskatoon.

$3 from the sale of each of these unisex tshirts will be provided to the Canadian Tire Jump Start Hockey League. This program enables children with limited funds the means to play hockey, as well as the opportunities that come along with this wonderful sport.

Partnering with Prairie Proud, and the Canadian Tire Jump Start Hockey League, combines the community morals that the Blades base their organization on. Dave Deplaedt of Canadian Tire, shares these sentiments, "we are very proud to team up with a company that is such a great community supporter. As a locally ran and operated organization, Canadian Tire feels this will benefit so many children within the Jumpstart Hockey League throughout the prairies."

As part of our community commitment, The Saskatoon Blades are honored to help spread the pride, while investing in the prairies.
