Chiefs Announce 2015-16 Full Promotional Schedule

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs have announced their 2015-16 Promotional Schedule, set to begin this Saturday, September 26, with Bud Light Opening Night at Spokane Arena. The team's home schedule includes many popular annual promotions, including five Buck Nights, three specialty themed jerseys, a bobblehead giveaway, the Teddy Bear Toss and much more.

Tickets for the 2015-16 regular season are available now over the phone via TicketsWest at 800-325-SEAT or online at www.ticketswest.com. Ticket packages and group options are also available via the Chiefs' Ticket Office in-person at the southeast corner of the Spokane Arena or over the phone at 509-535-PUCK.

Bud Light Opening Night on Sept. 26 marks the opening of the Chiefs' regular season and 11th consecutive year Spokane has hosted Tri-City to kick off their home schedule. It is, however, the first time the Chiefs have opened their regular season schedule at home since 2000.

Bud Light Opening Night will feature a special Bud Light Pre-Party outside the main gates from 4-6:30 p.m. with live music, a beer garden, food trucks, kids activities and more. Plus, meet the team as they enter the Arena at approximately 4:45 p.m. Arrive early for the pre-party and special pre-game ceremony.

The Fifth Annual Leinenkugel's HOCKtoberfest promotion returns in 2015 on Oct. 17 including Oktoberfest-themed food, drink and entertainment, as well as the opportunity to win a weekend trip to Leavenworth. Entry for the trip giveaway contest will be available starting next week on the Chiefs website.

Fans will have a chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree at Fred Meyer Shop With The Chiefs Night on Saturday, Dec. 4. Enter to win at local Fred Meyer locations prior to the game.

The Annual Teddy Bear Toss presented by the Spokesman-Review Christmas Fund is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 12. Fans are encouraged to bring a teddy bear or stuff animal to throw on the ice when the Chiefs score their first goal.

On Saturday, December 19, the Chiefs will celebrate 100 years of hockey in Spokane and wear one-of-a-kind "faux-back" Spokane Canaries jerseys. The Canaries were a professional hockey team in the Pacific Coast Hockey Association in 1916-17. The jerseys will be auctioned off on the main concourse.

The first 2,000 fans and all full season ticket holders through the gates on Saturday, Jan. 23 will receive a bobblehead of former Chief great and long-time NHL player Ray Whitney as part of Coca-Cola Ray Whitney Bobblehead Giveaway Night.

The team will wear special military-themed jerseys on Saturday, Jan. 30 as part of Washington Army National Guard Buck Night & CheerStix Giveaway. They will wear pick-accented breast cancer awareness jerseys on Saturday, Feb. 20 as part of Mike's Hard Pink Lemonade Breast Cancer Awareness Night & Helmet Giveaway. Both sets of jerseys will be sold in a silent auction on the main concourse.

Included as part of The General Store Buck Night & Jersey Towel Giveaway on Saturday, Feb. 13, the first 5,000 fans will receive a Chiefs jersey-shaped rally towel.

The regular season concludes with the Coca-Cola Regular Season Finale on Sunday, Mar. 22.
