Lethbridge - 1st - Dustin Donaghy (Cam Braes, Austin Fyten) 19:24 Donaghy made it 1-0 for the Hurricanes before the first period was out. The overage forward moved in on the left wing and put one past goaltender Steven Stanford (Calgary, AB) for his 1st of the season.
Saskatoon - 2nd - Inglis (Boyer) 9:14 Inglis tied things up midway through the second period on his 16th on the campaign. The 17-year-old gathered up a turnover inside the Canes blue line and hammered a slap shot past goaltender Linden Rowat.
Lethbridge - 2nd - Braes (Daniel Johnston, Reid Jackson) 14:37 pp The Hurricanes regained the lead on the 18th of the year from Braes. The 19-year-old found himself at the side with a wide open net and made no mistake on a 6-on-4 advantage with a delayed penalty on the way.
Saskatoon - 3rd - Viedensky (Stefan Elliott, Jyri Niemi) 1:05 pp The Blades tied things up just over a minute into the third period on Viedensky's 13th of the year. Elliott (North Vancouver, BC) fired a shot from the point that the big Slovak forward got a piece of and saw his consecutive point streak extended to ten games.
Saskatoon - OT - Hulak (Sena Acolatse) 4:02 Hulak won it for the Blades in overtime on his 25th of the season. The 20-year-old took a pass from Acolatse (Edmonton, AB), while the teams were playing 3-on-3, and moved in on a breakaway. Stanford made 18 saves between the pipes for the Blades to earn the victory. At the Lethbridge end, Rowat stopped 29 of 32 to help the Hurricanes earn the single point with the overtime loss.
Final score Saskatoon Blades 3, Lethbridge Hurricanes 2 (OT).
