Blades Announce Details for Vaccine Verification Program
September 28, 2021 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Saskatoon Blades News Release
Saturday, October 2nd will be the first game of the season for the Saskatoon Blades that will require proof of vaccination or a verified negative COVID test to enter SaskTel Centre. As per guidance from Saskatchewan Health Authorities, the Government of Saskatchewan and SaskTel Centre staff, we have put a policy in place for the verification program.
Fans age 12 and older must be able to verify they have received two doses of Pfizer, Moderna or AstraZeneca vaccines (or a mixture of two) or a single dose of Johnson and Johnson to be permitted to enter SaskTel Centre.
The COVID-19 Vaccination Record available through
your MySaskHealthRecord account is the preferred vaccination record for entry and will provide the smoothest verification process on game day.
Fans 18 and older will be required to present photo ID matching the name on the vaccination record. Fans aged 12-17 will be required to show their vaccine record, but photo ID is not a requirement.
Fans under the age of 12 are exempt from the policy but must be accompanied by an adult to enter the arena.
Other documents such as the immunization wallet card received at the time of vaccination, COVID immunization records from public health, Armed Forces records or out of province/out of country proof of vaccination will also be accepted.
A verified negative COVID test received within 48 hours of puck drop will be accepted for entry.

Prairie Industrial Health Services will be set up outside SaskTel Centre and patrons can be tested on the spot and if a negative test is established, will be permitted into Sasktel Centre.
Fans can stop by the Saskatoon Blades office Monday- Friday 9am-5pm and get set up for a fastpass. The Blades office will be open until 7:00pm both Tuesday and Wednesday this week. The pass will be $5 for the public and free of charge for Saskatoon Blades and Saskatchewan Rush Season Ticket Members. After showing photo ID and proof of COVID Vaccination, you will receive a verification card that will allow you quick access into the arena. Fast Pass holders will be able to use the express entrance at the Affinity Lobby at SaskTel Centre to ensure a quick and easy process.
2021-22 season ticket memberships are now on sale for as low as $17 per game for adults, and $5 for children. Single-game tickets are also now on sale, and can be found HERE for purchase.
