Blades Add Rookie Net-Minder Passingham

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced today that goaltender Troy Passingham has agreed to terms with the club.

Passingham comes to the Everblades after playing this season at the major junior level with the Windsor Spitfires and Sarnia Sting of the Ontario Hockey League. The 20-year-old began the season with the Spitfires appearing 17 games and posting a 9-5-2 record with a 3.24 goals against average and a .898 save percentage. Passingham finished off the regular season in Sarnia where he was 9-10-3 with a 4.76 GAA and an .879 save percentage in 24 games.

Last season the native of Mississauga, Ontario helped lead Windsor to the Memorial Cup Championship after finishing second in the OHL in wins with 35 and posting a 2.78 GAA. Overall in 2009-10 Passingham was 35-10-3 in 50 games.
