
'Blades Add Center Ryan Martindale; DiSalvatore Loaned to Springfield

ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades announced Friday that the team has agreed to terms with center Ryan Martindale (pictured above left / Credit Scott Thomas Photography). In addition, forward Jon DiSalvatore (pictured above right) has been loaned to the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.
Martindale, 24, joins the Everblades after registering 14 points (8g, 6a) in 19 games with the Syracuse Crunch and 13 points (8g, 5a) in 45 appearances with the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League last season. The 6-3, 207-pound center has totaled a balanced 67 points (30g, 37a) in 180 career AHL games, while logging 17 points (9g, 8a) in 39 ECHL contests with the Stockton Thunder from 2011-2012. The Oshawa, Ontario native was selected ny the Edmonton Oilers in the third round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
DiSalvatore, 34, heads to Springfield having posted six points (2g, 4a) in 12 games played with the Everblades this season. The 6-1, 200-pound veteran winger has amassed 568 points (235g, 333a) in 792 career AHL games with numerous teams from 2003-2014. The Bangor, Maine native has made six NHL appearances during his career split between the St. Louis Blues (5 games, 2005-06) and the Minnesota Wild (1 game, 2011-12).
Martindale is expected to be available to play tonight when the Everblades battle the Colorado Eagles at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland, Colorado. Game time is scheduled for 9:05 p.m. (Eastern standard time). Fans can catch the game broadcast on 770 AM or online by CLICKING HERE

We will round up all of the teddy bears and stuffed animals and distribute them to local children's charities for the holidays. Beginning at 5:00 p.m. we will have the tailgate party featuring live music along with bounce houses and face painting for the kids!
