Waterloo Black Hawks News Release
Waterloo, Iowa-The Waterloo Black Hawks are inviting fans of all kinds to Young Arena for "Sports Swap Night" on Thursday, December 5th when the Hawks meet the Tri-City Storm on the ice at 7:05 p.m.
"We know that sometimes emergencies come up on the day of the big game or the weather is bad on the night you want to go to the ballpark," said Waterloo Black Hawks Vice President Mike Falk. "Rather than letting their unused tickets go to waste, we want to give Panthers and Bucks and Knights and Peacocks fans - and everyone else - a second chance to see a great game."
Unused tickets from any local professional or college sporting event which has already been played may be redeemed for a $7 ticket to the December 5th contest. Fans who take advantage of this offer are encouraged to wear the colors and logos of their other favorite teams for the chance to be featured on Young Arena's new video scoreboard and participate during in-game contests.
Special discounts on beverages and concessions will also be offered during the game to everyone in attendance. Young Arena beer stands will offer $2.50 tallboy cans to those aged 21 and over, while the concession stands will feature $2 soda, hot dogs, nachos, pretzels, pizza, peanuts, and more.
For tickets to see the Black Hawks and Tri-City Storm on December 5th, contact the Domino's Black Hawks Box Office at (319) 291-7680. A complete schedule, plus more information about the Hawks is available online from waterlooblackhawks.com.
