Bitz Heads to Vancouver

The Vancouver Canucks have recalled right wing BYRON BITZ from the Chicago Wolves.
BITZ registered an assist in his last game on March 30 at Abbotsford and has dished out 2 helpers in his last four outings. The 27-year-old forward has tallied nine points (2G, 7A) and 11 penalty minutes in 24 games with the Wolves this year in his first action since March 2010 after he missed the 2010-11 campaign due to injuries.
The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, native also has registered four points (G, 3A) and 14 penalty minutes in eight National Hockey League games with the Canucks this year.
