IceCaps Sign Kyle Rogers to PTO

The St. John's IceCaps today announced they have signed forward Kyle Rogers to a professional tryout contract.

Rogers, 27, played in 72 games with the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL this season. In that time, the Philadelphia, PA native recorded 44 points (20G, 24A) and 41 penalty minutes.

The right-winger has played 141 career AHL games between Toronto and Grand Rapids, recording 21 points (9G, 12A) and 95 penalty minutes.

Rogers will join the team prior to their Wednesday night game versus the Portland Pirates at Mile One Centre.
