
Bisons to Host 2011 MLB Home Run Derby Watch Party July 11

The Buffalo Bisons today announced that they will host a 2011 MLB HOME RUN DERBY WATCH PARTY on Monday, July 11 at Coca-Cola Field at 7:00 p.m. to benefit Team Gary.
For only a $5.00 donation to Team Gary, fans can watch the Major League Baseball All-Star Home Run Derby on the 80' BisonsTV HD board -the largest scoreboard in minor league baseball. Fans will also receive one FREE HOT DOG and COCA-COLA SOFT DRINK as well as chance to WIN PRIZES based on which Major League Star wins this year's Home Run Derby at Chase Field in Arizona.
Fans will have a chance to compete in the Bisons' HOME RUN DISTANCE CHALLENGE. All fans can take ONE SWING at home plate off a tee with the longest hits winning great prizes, including tickets to the Triple-A All-Star Game in Buffalo on July 11, 2012.
There will be LIVE MUSIC from Tom Stahl and the Dangerfields from 7-8pm as well as cash bar at Pettibones Grille restaurant and open concession stands inside Coca-Cola Field. For more information, fans should visit Bisons.com.
July 11, 2011 is one year away from the 25th Annual Triple-A All-Star Game, presented by New Era Cap Co. and The Buffalo News, which will be hosted by the Bisons at Coca-Cola Field. The team is putting ALL-STAR GAME/HR DERBY TICKET PACKAGES and MERCHANDISE ON SALE for the first time at the 2011 MLB HOME RUN DERBY WATCH PARTY.
