Bisons' Reyes, Donnelly Promoted to Indians

The Cleveland Indians today announced the club has recalled RHP Anthony Reyes and purchased the contract of RHP Brendan Donnelly from the Bisons.

LHP John Halama is now scheduled to start for the Herd tonight against the IronPigs in Lehigh Valley (7:05 p.m.). RHP Tom Mastny has been optioned from the Tribe to Buffalo. He is expected to report to the team over the weekend.

Halama is 7-3 with a 4.03ERA in 11 starts with the team. He leads the team in wins and 2-1 with a 2.03ERA and two complete games in four starts since the All-Star Break.

Mastny began the season with the Bisons and between multiple promotions to the big leagues has gone 1-0 with a 1.71ERA in 19 relief appearances for Buffalo.

Reyes was acquired from the St. Louis Cardinals on July 26 in exchange for minor league RHP Luis Perdomo. He made two starts with the Bisons, and went gone 2-0 with a 2.77ERA (13.0IP, 10H, 4R, 4ER, 4BB, 8K).

Donnelly has been rehabbing all season from reconstructive surgery on his right elbow on August 14, 2007. With the Herd, he was 1-0 with a 1.50ERA in six outings (6.0IP, 5H, R ER, BB, 5K).
