TODAY'S GAME: Tonight, the Bisons play the Lehigh Valley IronPigs in the third of a four-game series at Coca-Cola Field (7:05 p.m.). The Bisons lost their seventh straight game last night with a 10-1 defeat to the IronPigs. After a league-wide off day on Wednesday, the Bisons continue their eight-game homestand with a four-game series against Indianapolis.

vs. THE IRONPIGS: The Bisons now trail the IronPigs 4-2 in the 16-game season series. The two clubs split a four-game set in Lehigh Valley, May 22-25. In their brief existence, the IronPigs hold the 22-16 advantage over the Bisons. Buffalo has won two of the previous four sets played here at Coca-Cola Field.

KEEP ON TURNIN': INF JUSTIN TURNER has reached base in all 16 games he's played with the Bisons. The infielder has a .333 (21-63) average with in his time with Buffalo. Turner doubled twice in yesterday's contest and now has five doubles in his last four games.

WELCOME BACK: OF FERNANDO MARTINEZ has six hits in his first three games since returning to the Bisons on June 11. The outfielder has averaged .545 (6-11) with two doubles, a home run and three runs scored. The outfielder missed 23 games with Buffalo because of a left hamstring strain. Martinez was on the disabled list from May 14 - June 7.

HESS DISABLED: This Bisons placed INF MIKE HESSMAN on disabled list today, retroactive to June 10, with a right hand contusion. The slugger was hit on the hand by a pitch on June 6 in Norfolk and hasn't played since. Despite missing the time, Hessman still leads all International League hitters with 18 home runs and 57RBI.

ROSTER MOVES: OF LUCAS DUDA, INF JONATHAN MALO and ROY MERRITT have all been promoted from Binghamton today. Duda hit .286 (46-161) with six homers and 34RBI in 45 games with the B-Mets. His 17 doubles were tied for 3rd most in the Eastern League. Merritt led all E.L. pitchers with 28 appearances and was 1-3 with a 3.98ERA and six saves. Malo, who was with the Herd earlier this year but did not play, hit .234 (26-111) with two homers and 13RBI with the B-Mets.

METS UPDATE: The Mets (35-28) won their fourth straight game with an 11-4 victory yesterday over the Orioles. INF DAVID WRIGHT went 3-5 with two home runs and four RBI. Former Bisons OF CHRIS CARTER and OF JASON BAY also hit home runs in the win. The Mets now travel to Progressive Field to begin a three-game series with the Cleveland Indians on Tuesday at 7:05 p.m.
