Today's Game

Today, the Bisons face the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders at a split day-night doubleheader at PNC Field (7:05 p.m.). The teams will play two today because of a rainout on June 27. Both games will be nine innings in regulation. The Bisons head into tonight winners of three straight and now trail the 1st place RailRiders by 4.5 games.

vs. the RailRiders

The Bisons are 3-3 against the RailRiders this season. The road team has won all six games in the season series thus far. Buffalo went 9-7 against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre last season and have gone 4-4 in each of the last three seasons on the road against the RailRiders.

Randy Wolf

LHP RANDY WOLF will start tonight's game two, his team-leading 16th start of the season. Wolf tossed seven shutout innings in a no-decision last Tuesday against Gwinnett. Wolf's .833 winning pct. (5-1) leads all qualifying IL pitchers while his 2.81 ERA ranks 7th. Wolf appeared in 38 games with the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Red Barons from 1998-1999 and 2001, going 13-13 with a 4.30 ERA.

MattVP

One game after being the first IL player to reach 100 hits (now 103), All-Star INF MATT HAGUE became the third this year to 50 RBI. Hague's team-best 31st multi-hit performance last night raised his IL-best average to .344 and his on-base pct. to (.426).
