With just today's doubleheader left, the Bisons have lost their season-series against their old American Association rivals. The Herd's lone win in the first five games was an 11-1 thumping on April 13, Buffalo's second home game of the year. Only four players that appeared in that game (Tellez, Jansen, Leblebijian, Lopes) are still with the team.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. to join the Herd

The Blue Jays announced Saturday that 3B Vladimir Guerrero Jr. will be promoted to the Bisons on Tuesday for his Triple-A debut. The top prospect in baseball according to both MLB.com and Baseball America, Guerrero hit .402 with 14 home runs and 60 RBI in 61 games for New Hampshire despite being the youngest player at Double-A. If he had 10 more plate appearances, his .671 slugging pct. would qualify as 54 points better than any other player in the minor leagues.

Today's Starter (G1): RHP Zach Stewart

RHP Zach Stewart will make his first career Bisons start in game one. In six relief outings this year for the Herd, the righty has posted a 5.91 ERA (10.2IP, 5K). Before joining the Herd, Stewart made 11 starts for New Britain (IND) and was 6-3 with a 3.56 ERA.

Today's Starter (G2): LHP Matt Tracy

LHP Matt Tracy will start game two. This is Tracy's fifth start with the Herd and the southpaw has not allowed more than three runs in any of his previous outings. In the second game of a doubleheader on Tuesday in Louisville, he allowed two runs in 5.2 innings (ND, 2BB, 5K).

Billy McKinney & Roster Moves

Blue Jays Update

INF Lourdes Gurriel Jr. had two more hits to become the first rookie with 10 straight multi-hit games since Shoeless Joe Jackson in 1911.
