Bisons announce Time Warner Cable fan appreciation week

The Buffalo Bisons today announced that their final home game, Thursday, August 31 against the Rochester Red Wings (7:05 p.m.), has been sold out. With no tickets available for the team's Fan Appreciation Night, the Bisons also announced the formation of Time Warner Cable Fan Appreciation Week.

The Bisons final regular season homestand will be Monday, August 28 - Thursday, August 31, and will now feature an extra fireworks show on Wednesday, August 30. Each game will also contain special events and promotions to show the team's appreciation for the great support of its fans.

"We can't say enough about how special our great fans truly are," said Mike Buczkowski, Vice President/General Manager of the Buffalo Bisons. "We have added three events for our final week of the season to shows our fans how appreciative we are for their long-standing support."

Time Warner Cable Fan Appreciation Week will start with a Major Markdown Monday on August 28 against the Ottawa Lynx (7:05 p.m.). All tickets purchased at the Dunn Tire Park Box Office will cost only $5 and the first 3,000 kids under 12 years of age will receive a coupon for a free Perry's Simply Vanilla Ice Cream Bar.

On Tuesday (7:05 p.m.), the Bisons will announce their 2007 schedule and give away a pocket schedule to all fans in attendance. Fans who purchase a ticket to Tuesday game at the Dunn Tire Park Box Office, will also receive a voucher good for a complimentary ticket to the Herd's 2007 Home Opener.

On Wednesday (7:05 p.m.), the team has added another spectacular post game fireworks show. Finally Thursday (7:05 p.m.), the usual last night festivities will be in place, including lucky seat and row giveaways throughout the game and the second largest fireworks show of the year, presented by HSBC Bank USA, N.A.
