Hens to Host Crucial Five Game Stand

The Mud Hens will host interdivision rivals Indianapolis and Louisville August 23-27 with huge playoff implications on the line. The Hens, Indians, and Bats are all separated by one game in the competitive International League West Division and this homestand could very well deicide the playoff fate of all three clubs. This homestand will feature The showing of the Mud Hens "Get Loose" 2005 Governor's Cup Championship Video, Mud Hens Treasure Giveaway, Summer Reading Program Night, College Advantage Back to School Night, Verizon Wireless Thunderstix and Jim Beam Sunflower Seeds giveaways, a Game used Bat Auction, face painting, appearances by Spongebob Squarepants and the Fricker's Chicken plus live music and post-game fireworks!

Wednesday, August 23 (Indianapolis, 1st pitch @ 7:00 pm) - Tonight is Mud Hens Treasure Giveaway Night as all fans through the gates will receive a scratch off card that will reveal a prize...the best part is, everyone wins! Tonight is also Summer Reading Program Night as well as College Advantage Back to School Night. Fans will also get to catch an up-close look at a piece of last year's Governors' Cup Championship as the Governors' Cup will be on display throughout the game. The contest between the Hens and Indians can be heard live on Sports Radio 1470 AM - The Ticket and seen LIVE on BCSN.
Thursday, August 24 (Indianapolis, 1st pitch @ 7:00 pm) - Tonight marks an appearance by the ever popular Spongebob Squarepants as well as by the Fricker's Chicken. There will be post game fireworks following the game. Tonight's match up can be heard live on Sports Radio 1470 AM - The Ticket and be seen LIVE on BCSN.
Friday, August 25 (Louisville, 1st pitch @ 7:00 pm) - The first 6,000 fans through the gates will receive "Verizon Wireless Thunderstix". After the game, Lightin Rod and the Tunderbolts will perform in the Coop-a-cabana. Fireworks will follow the game and Jim Beam Sunflower Seeds will be distributed upon exit of the ballpark. Saturday, August 26 (Louisville, 1st pitch @ 7:00 pm) - Tonight is We've Gone Batty Night at the ballpark, there will be a Game Used Bat Auction of 20-30 bats throughout the game including one of Twins star catcher, Joe Mauer. Before the game, you'll want to make sure you arrive in time to catch the showing of the Mud Hens "Get Loose" 2005 Governors' Cup Championship Video on the Fifth Third Field video board from 5:30-6:30 PM.
