
Bisons add RHP Jose Sanchez

Buffalo Bisons News Release
The Buffalo Bisons, Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets, today announced that RHP Jose Sanchez has been promoted to the team from Single-A St. Lucie. Sanchez is scheduled to start for the Herd TONIGHT against the Rochester Red Wings at Frontier Field (7:05 p.m.).
Sanchez, 25, has posted a 3.68ERA in four games and one start with the St. Lucie Mets (7.1IP, 12H, 3R, 3ER, 2BB, 4K). He began the 2009 season with Binghamton (AA) and was 1-6 with a 6.88ERA in 10 starts with the B-Mets (52.1IP, 72H, 42R, 40ER, 22BB, 33K). He missed all of June and July this year due to illness (mono).
In 2008, Sanchez was 13-7 with a 3.83ERA in 29 games (26 starts) with Binghamton.
