Bisons Activate Josh Satin, Pedro Beato

The Buffalo Bisons announced that INF JOSH SATIN and RHP PEDRO BEATO have been activated to the Bisons roster. Satin has cleared waivers and accepted his assignment to the Bisons while Beato was optioned by the Mets yesterday.

To make roster room, RHP EDGAR RAMIREZ has been transferred to Double-A Binghamton and C JEAN LUC BLAQUIERE has been transferred to Single-A Brooklyn.

Satin began the season with the Bisons and hit .274 (49-179) with 10 doubles, three home runs and 14RBI in 54 games. He was recalled by the Mets on June 3 and made one pinch hit appearance for New York (0-1). Satin was designated for assignment on June 6.

Beato joined the Bisons on a Major League rehabilitation assignment, May 25 - June 5, and pitched in six games. Beato was 2-0 with a 1.00ERA in nine innings of work (5H, 6K) for Buffalo. Beato was activated to New York on June 6 but did not pitch for New York.

Blaquiere has hit .214 (6-28) with two RBI in 10 games with the Bisons this season. Ramirez is 0-1 with a 5.14ERA in four games for the Herd (7.0IP, 7H, 4K).
