The IronPigs (35-26) play Game One of a four-game series against the fifth-place Syracuse Chiefs (30-32) at Alliance Bank Stadium... With a 6-5 win last night, the Pigs swept a four-game series against Gwinnett (by a 26-9 total margin) and finished 5-2 on the rain-shortened, seven-game homestand. In addition to winning four straight, Lehigh Valley has won seven of its last nine contests... The Chiefs -- Washington's top affiliate -- defeated Louisville 7-3 last night to take a five-game, home series, 4-1. After starting 10-20 upon last leaving Lehigh Valley on May 6, the Chiefs have gone 20-12 in their last 32 affairs.

RHP Matt Wright (2-0, 2.20 w/ Sugar Land) will make his LHV debut in a start against former N.L. All-Star LHP Zach Duke (6-3, 4.15).

First-Pitch is at 7 p.m.

WITH A WIN TONIGHT, THE PIGS WILL...:

* Have a 5-G winning streak... which would mark just the 6th time in franchise history they'd have won 5 straight... Their season-high is a 6-gamer from 4/11-4/16... The franchise best is a 7-gamer, 6/14/09-6/20/09.

* Will have a 6-G winning streak over SYR this season; and an 9-G winning streak going back to 2012.

* Will tie their season-best, high-water mark of 10 games above .500 (LHV was 28-18 on May 22).

With the win last night, LHV swept Gwinnett in the four-game series -- marking their 6th sweep of the season, and their 2nd in a four-game series (5/15-5/18 vs. IND)... It was their first-ever sweep of GWN (which swept LHV in a 4-G series 8/5-8/8/10 at CCP).

* Reservation Domination: In the sweep, LHV: outscored GWN, 26-9; outhit GWN, 43-22... LHV committed 0 E and had 3 OF-AST.
