Bison Secure 418 Season Tickets in First 24 Hours

BLOOMINGTON- The Bloomington Bison, the newly named ECHL franchise announced Thursday that they have secured 418 season tickets in the first 24 hours as well as earned over 4,000 social media followers since unveiling their name and logo yesterday at Grossinger Motors Arena.
There was remarkable media and fan attendance at the press conference yesterday where Hallett Sports & Entertainment spoke alongside ECHL commissioner Ryan Crelin and Bloomington Mayor Mboka Mwilambwe about the future of the Bison's place in the community.
"This initial interest bodes well for the future of hockey in Bloomington," Sean Hallett, interim team CEO and president said.
The Bison have not only felt great local support but have also received ticket orders throughout the surrounding community including Champaign, Peoria and Springfield.
