MOBILE, Ala. - The Biscuits (38-34) scored all five runs of a 13-hit barrage in the sixth inning and held on to beat the Mobile BayBears (42-32) 5-2 Sunday at Hank Aaron Stadium.

With the game still scoreless in the sixth, Omar Luna and Ryan Garko delivered back-to-back two-run doubles to make it 4-0. Mike Sheridan followed with an RBI-double of his own to cap the scoring in the inning.

The BayBears made it interesting, scoring once in the eighth and once in the ninth before leaving the bases loaded to finish the game.

Joe Cruz (5-6) was the winning for the Biscuits, dealing six shutout innings despite walking six. Adam Liberatore (6) got the save, pitching the final 0.2 of the ninth. Biscuits pitchers matched a season-high by walking ten on the day.

Garko led the Biscuits with a 3-5 performance, knocking in two and scoring a run. Luna, Ty Morrison, and Brett Nommensen both had a pair of hits as well.

Mobile starter Derek Eitel (6-5) gave up five runs on 11 hits over seven full innings in the loss.

RHP Nick Barnese will start for the Biscuits in the series-finale on Monday at 7:05 against LHP Tyler Skaggs.
