JACKSON, Tenn. - Dylan Floro (3-4) made his best start of the year while Jeremy Moore and Richie Shaffer both went deep as the Biscuits (23-19) shutout the Jackson Generals (17-25) 4-0 Saturday night at Generals Park.

Floro came into Saturday's contest having lost his last three starts, but was able to work out of several jams through seven innings while striking out a season-high seven, one away from matching his career-high. Floro scattered six hits to pick up his third win of the year, while the Generals stranded eight and went 0-for-9 with runners in scoring position.

The Generals biggest threat came when Leon Landry led off the fifth inning with a triple. Ketel Marte then hit a bouncer to third that Shafer caught and tagged Landry but the ball popped out of his mitt to put runners on the corners with no outs. Floro then struck out Jamal Austin. Marte was caught trying to steal second, and Dario Pizanno grounded out to end the inning, keeping the Biscuits with a 3-0 lead.

The Biscuits took advantage of a two-out error in the third inning to get on the board. With two outs and a runner on first, Shafer hit a groundball that went through the legs of third-baseman Patrick Kivlehan. The error kept the inning alive for Jeremy Moore who crushed an opposite field three-run homer to left-center to give the Biscuits a three unearned runs.

Richie Shaffer went deep on the first pitch of the sixth inning to make it 4-0 Biscuits. It was Shaffer's fifth home run of the season.

Andrew Bellatti threw to innings to finish up the game, extending the bullpen's scoreless-inning streak to 17.

Game four of the series is Sunday night at 6:05. RH Roberto Gomez will make his second start in double-A while the Generals will have RH Trevor Miller on the hill.
