MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Biscuits lost for just the second time in seven games on Sunday afternoon, falling to the Jacksonville Suns at the Baseball Grounds, 4-2.

The Biscuits (21-15) sent Jake Faria (0-4) to the mound, and while the right-hander tossed his third consecutive quality start, allowing three runs on five hits with six strikeouts in six innings, he did not get the necessary run support to avoid his fourth loss of the season.

The Suns (15-22) got things started in the first with three singles, including an RBI by Moises Sierra to put Jacksonville up 1-0. Two innings later, second baseman Peter Mooney took Faria over the right field wall for a two-run homer to increase the lead to three.

The Biscuits couldn't solve spot starter Chris Mazza (1-0), who went five innings of shutout ball before handing it over to Sean Donatello. Montgomery's first run didn't come until the sixth, when Donatello balked following a triple by Juniel Querecuto.

It was 3-1 in the eighth, when the Suns added to their lead with an RBI-single by Avery Romero. The Biscuits, down three entering the ninth, would score their second and last run of the game when Braxton Lee knocked in Kean Wong on an infield single, before Johnny Field flew out to left for the final out.

The Biscuits will aim to get back on track on Monday night when Taylor Guerrieri (2-1) clashes with Austin Brice (1-2) at 6:05 PM.
