JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Montgomery Biscuits broke a 3-3 tie with three runs in the fifth inning on the way to a 10-5 win over the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp in front of 2,580 on Publix Corks & Forks Wednesday, Get JAX'ed Day and National Wine and Cheese Day at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.

The Biscuits (18-15 second half, 55-48 overall) took the lead in the top of the first inning against Jacksonville right-hander Robert Dugger (2-5). Second baseman Nick Solak and first baseman Nate Lowe hit consecutive singles, with the latter moving both runners into scoring position on right fielder Monte Harrison's error. Third baseman Mike Brosseau hit into a fielder's choice to score Solak. In the second inning, catcher Brett Sullivan hit a leadoff home run to right field, shortstop Jake Cronenworth tripled, and center fielder Thomas Milone hit an RBI single for a 3-0 Montgomery lead.

After a scoreless first inning by Biscuits left-handed opener Dalton Moats, the Jumbo Shrimp (11-22, 39-62) came back against right-hander Benton Moss (3-4). Shortstop Joe Dunand led off the second inning with a home run to left field and began the fourth inning with a double before scoring on second baseman Justin Twine's sacrifice fly. Third baseman Brian Schales walked and scored on catcher Sharif Othman's game-tying single. Moss did not allow another run, lasting six innings, allowing three earned runs on five hits and two walks with two strikeouts.

Montgomery broke the tie against Dugger in the top of the fifth inning, when Milone hit a leadoff double and scored on an RBI single by Nathan Lukes. Solak added an RBI double, and Brosseau hit an RBI single to make it 6-3. Dugger yielded six runs - five earned - on 10 hits and one walk with five strikeouts in five innings. Miami Marlins right-hander Tayron Guerrero pitched a perfect inning with two strikeouts in his third rehab appearance with Jacksonville. Right-hander Reilly Hovis allowed two runs on four walks in the seventh inning, and Rodriguez hit a ninth-inning, two-run home run off right-hander Jose Pena to grow the lead to 10-3. Jacksonville scored two runs on center fielder Brian Miller's ninth-inning single.
