'Birds, Suns Washed out on Sunday

SALISBURY, MD - Due to inclement weather across the Eastern Shore, Sunday afternoon's Delmarva Shorebirds-Hagerstown Suns game has been postponed.

The teams will make the game up in a future doubleheader with the date and time to be determined. Hagerstown visits Perdue Stadium two more times before the end of the first half for four-game series on May 25-28 and June 6-9.

The Shorebirds and Suns will wrap up their current series on Monday night with Delmarva's Nick Vespi (1-1, 5.49) matched up against Hagerstown's Tomas Alastre (2-2, 5.70). First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. with gates opening at 6:00. Monday night is 47 ABC $3 Buck Monday presented by Wicomico Heating & Air Conditioning. Pregame coverage on Fox Sports 960 AM and the MiLB First Pitch app begins at 6:50 with Will DeBoer and Sam Jellinek on the call.
