GRAND PRAIRIE - Opening weekend at the ballpark wouldn't be complete without a local legend in attendance. The Texas AirHogs are excited to announce Bill Bates Night at AirHogs Stadium in Grand Prairie on May 27th at 7:30 p.m. as the ball club is set to square off against the Laredo Lemurs.
The legendary Dallas Cowboys safety will be on hand to sign autographs an hour before the game for fans. This will be on a first come first serve basis, so please be sure to get to the stadium early. Bates will show off his pitching skills as well, as he is set to take the mound and throw out the ceremonial first pitch. There will also be a special giveaway for one lucky fan.
