Big Hockey Night In PA

February 24, 2010 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Prince Albert Raiders News Release

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - Hockey fans in Prince Albert will be treated to a unique double header tonight at the Art Hauser Centre. The screens in the Ches Leach Lounge and all the corporate viewing suites will feature the Quarterfinal game between Canada and Russia from the Vancouver Olympics starting at 6:30 PM just before the Raiders face off with the Chilliwack Bruins in a key Western Hockey League game at 7:00 PM.

"This is a great opportunity for the loyal and passionate hockey fans of PA to watch a key game at the Olympics together, while at the same time support the Raiders in their playoff drive," said Bruce Vance, Director of Marketing and Media Relations.

The first 1,000 fans will receive a free mini Canada flag. And all fans are encouraged to wear red and white tonight to show their support for not only the Canadian hockey team, but all Canadian athletes competing at the 2010 Olympics.

The Raiders start the evening with 65 points in the WHL Eastern Conference, one point back of Swift Current and Moose Jaw who are tied for 7th. The Warriors host Saskatoon tonight.

Tickets are available at the Raider Office, by calling 764-GAME or at www.raiderhockey.com.
