HICKORY, N.C. - Take a trip down memory lane and secure your personal piece of Hickory history with the Crawdads Blast from the Past Jersey Auction. Fans can bid online right now on the Crawdads 2005-08 game worn pinstriped jerseys, donned by big leaguers like Andrew McCutchen, Matt Capps, Brian Bixler and more when they suited up for Hickory on their road to the show!
The online auction will continue until Sunday, Aug. 23 at 1 p.m., and then final bids on all remaining jerseys will be collected in a silent auction on the concourse during that day's Crawdads game against the Asheville Tourists at 3 p.m. Bidding starts at just $50 with a 'Buy It Now' option online for $200, to make sure you land the game worn jersey you want the most! The 2009 Crawdads will also sport the pinstriped jerseys during the game before the auction concludes.

The Crawdads continue the Celebrity Tribute Series against West Virginia on Monday night at 7 p.m., with the tribute game to Farrah Fawcett and Walter Cronkite. The game will feature the Best Farrah 'Do hair competition, Charlie's Angels Race and more in honor of Fawcett, with numerous pink merchandise items on sale to raise proceeds for cancer research. There will also be a Walter Cronkite Broadcast Competition, with the winner getting to call an inning of Crawdads baseball on The Big Dawg 92.1 FM and Hickorycrawdads.com! All fans with the name Farrah, Fawcett, Walter or Cronkite can also receive a free ticket to the game by presenting their ID at the Ticket Office.
Then, on Tuesday, the series concludes with the Crawdads tribute to Billy Mays. All fans named Billy or Mays, or that have a full beard, can receive a free ticket to the game! Various products that Mays promoted will also be the evening's on-field prizes among other pitch-related contests throughout the game. Tuesday is also Dollar Day at the ballpark.
