
Bichette's Big Night Leads Fisher Cats to Rout of Yard Goats

Hartford, CT - Bo Bichette homered, doubled twice, driving in five runs and Forrest Wall added three hits as the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Toronto Blue Jays Double-A affiliate) won again at Hartford (Colorado) 12-2 on Saturday night.
Josh DeGraaf (W, 4-5) allowed one run in six innings, to earn the win. He allowed six hits, walked three and struck out two. Justin Dillon and Andrew Case finished up New Hampshire's tenth consecutive win at Dunkin' Donuts Park.
The Fisher Cats had a fast start to the game with Wall drilling the first pitch for a single. Cavan Biggio followed with a walk and Harold Ramirez delivered a two-run double. Jon Berti singled and stole second. Santiago Espinal singled to left, driving home two more runs for a 4-0 lead before the Yard Goats came to the plate.
New Hampshire opened the lead to 7-0 in the top of the fourth inning. Espinal doubled, moved to third on a groundout, scoring on a single by Andrew Guillotte. After Forrest Wall walked, Bo Bichette just missed a home run off the top of the wall, plating two with his first double of the night.
Hartford's Brendan Rodgers singled in the bottom of the fourth, advancing to second on a groundout, scoring on a double by Sam Hilliard to make it 7-1. Mylz Jones had the other Yard Goat RBI with a groundout.
Bichette had an RBI double, Jon Berti an RBI single and Max Pentecost an RBI double in the top of the seventh. Bichette hit a two-run homer in the top of the eighth as the Fisher Cats opened the lead to 12-2. His five RBI night ties his top performance from July 1, 2016 when Bo was playing in the Gulf Coast League.
The series concludes with a 5:05 p.m. game on Sunday. RHP T. J. Zeuch (6-4, 3.54) starts for the Fisher Cats against LHP Evan Grills (2-3, 3.57) for the Yard Goats. Coverage begins at 4:45 p.m.
