June 7, 2019 - Midwest League (MWL1)
Burlington Bees News Release

Nonie Williams had two hits, walked twice, drove in a run and scored a run. Spencer Griffin had a sacrifice fly, and that was about all the offense the Bees could muster in a 4-2 loss at Beloit. Burlington took the first two games of the three game set.

Jordyn Adams and Alexis Olmeda each provided one of the other hits for the Bees.

With the game tied at one in the bottom of the seventh, Beloit put their leadoff batter on with a single to right field. He stole second and scored on a single to left. Matt Leon replaced starter Cristopher Molina, but could not hold the Snappers. Beloit first baseman J. J. Schwartz greeted Leon with a two-run blast. Beloit up 4-1.

The Williams RBI single came in the eighth to bring the Bees to within two, but that was how it ended.

Molina, an All-Star selection for the Bees, drops to 3-3 on the season. His ERA is now 1.82. He remains the league leader in that category.
