
Bees Sign Bucchino, Waive Kouba

Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees News Release
Hidalgo, Texas --- The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees of the Central Hockey League today announced that the club has signed goaltender A.J. Bucchino and waived forward Ladislav Kouba.
Bucchino, 23, has played this season primarily with Richmond of the Southern Professional Hockey League. He also saw time with Jacksonville (SPHL) and Charlotte (ECHL). In 11 SPHL games, he went 6-2-3 with a 2.58 GAA and .930 save percentage. He also posted one shutout. He led the league in GAA and save percentage at the time of his recall to the Bees. The Bow, N.H., native turned pro out of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
Kouba had 10 points (5-5-10) and a minus-7 rating in 15 games with the Bees.
The Killer Bees begin a six-game road trip this Friday at North Richland Hills when they face the Texas Brahmas at 7:05 p.m.
