
Bears unveil new third jersey design

HERSHEY â The HERSHEY BEARS unveiled today the club's new alternate third jersey that will be worn during select home games in 2004-05. The announcement was made today by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.
The jersey features a black, white and maroon color scheme with block lettering on the front with "HERSHEY" spelled diagonally from upper left to lower right. The shoulder patches reflect both the past and present with HERSHEY'S current "HB" secondary logo on the left shoulder and the club's old oval "skating bear" logo on the right shoulder. The front of the jersey also features the current "swiping bear" logo on the upper right front.
The new look for the AHL's most senior franchise will make its debut on Sunday, November 7 when the BEARS take on the Providence Bruins. The BEARS open the 2004-05 season on Friday, October 15 at Norfolk before opening the home schedule the following night on Saturday, October 16. Season and group sales information is available by calling (717) 508-BEAR Single game tickets are available at the GIANT Center box office, or by calling (717) 534-3911. Tickets for the game in Reading are available through the Sovereign Center box office, or by calling (610) 898-7825. BEARS and Royals season ticket holders will receive a discount on tickets.
