
National Anthem Singer Announced For Express Mart Opening Night

Syracuse, NY (October 6, 2004) â The Syracuse Crunch, along with 93Q, announced today that Christopher Shoff, the winner of the National Anthem casting call contest, will sing the National Anthem at the Crunch's Express Mart Opening Night, on Friday, October 15.
Interested singers auditioned on Tuesday, September 21 for a National Anthem position with the Crunch. Guests judges, Ted and Amy, assisted in the selecting the five finalists who competed live on air on Wednesday, September 29.
Fans were able to vote for their favorite choice on www.93Q.com (on the Ted and Amy page) until October 4. Shoff, along with the other four finalists will make up the Crunch's National Anthem singers list.

Anna Santy
Jackie Rivera
Christopher Shoff
Cindy Smith
Shari Washington
The Crunch's regular season home schedule begins on Friday, October 15, when the St. John's Maple Leafs visit the War Memorial at Oncenter for the Express Mart Opening Night. The first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a hand-clapper noisemaker, compliment of Express Mart. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473-4444, at the Oncenter Box Office, located on the State Street side of the War Memorial or by calling TicketMaster at (315) 472-0700.
