HERSHEY moved within seven points of first place Wilkes-Barre/Scranton with a 3-1 victory over Chicago Sunday at GIANT Center.

Eric Fehr kicked off the scoring with his 22nd goal of the season 14:28 into the first period. Leading 1-0 after the first period, the BEARS got a goal from Doug Doull at 3:22 of the second to increase the lead. HERSHEY wrapped up the scoring when Jakub Klepis scored his ninth of the year at 8:10 of the second to push the lead to 3-0. Frederic Cassivi lost what would have been his second shutout in as many nights at the 14:46 mark of the third period when Chicago's Justin Morrison scored his ninth of the year.

The BEARS won for the 20th time this season at home against seven regulation defeats, and moved within seven points of first place in the process. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton lost at Providence 8-3, while Norfolk lost against Bridgeport 6-3. The Admirals fell 14 points back of second place HERSHEY.

The BEARS are off until Friday when the club travels to Albany to face the River Rats at 7:00 p.m. HERSHEY is home next weekend to face Philadelphia and Grand Rapids to wrap up the month of February. Tickets for both games are available at the GIANT Center box office, or by calling (717) 508-BEAR.
